The Nevada Wolf Pack released its official non-conference schedule yesterday, and both the Davidson Wildcats and Rhode Island Rams will be traveling to Reno this year. The Rhode Island game had been announced just a few weeks prior; we’ve been pretty in the dark about Davidson’s non-conference schedule though. It seems like some fans have a pretty good clue as to who the Wildcats will be playing this fall, but nothing official has been released from the college just yet.
Regardless, Davidson and Rhode Island will get enormous non-conference tests against this up-and-coming power in the MWC. Nevada should be the favorites to win its league this season, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Wolf Pack take down both Atlantic 10 teams at home. Both squads, especially Davidson, are going to have their work cut out for them, but they have a chance at coming away with big road wins.
