Two A-10 teams in action:

Dayton (-16.5) vs. North Texas
Saint Louis vs. Maryville

The Billikens face a non-D1 team tonight, so barring absolute disaster at home, they should be moving to 9-2 on the season before a great test against Kansas St. this weekend. Dayton gets a home game against North Texas, a team that has 2 A-10 opponents already in VCU and Rhode Island. Kenpom predicts a 74-58 win for Dayton, and this team has been covering the spreads pretty easily lately; Drake stood no chance in the 2nd half last weekend.

Biggest achilles here for North Texas this year has been taking care of the basketball. Flyers don't force a ton of turnovers, but if they can get out in transition, and Obi Toppin starts throwing them down.... this game will get out-of-hand pretty quickly.

Hoping that today will be 2 easy wins for the league. Can't afford any zany losses at this point, and both teams should be entirely capable of pulling it off today.

Agreed. Leading up to Saturday, the A-10 needs to take care of business against all of these teams. VCU and Richmond need to win on the road against Charleston and Old Dominion. Dayton needs to beat North Texas, etc. Even the teams that aren’t in the at-large conversation need to take care of business against the Maine’s and the James Madison’s of the world. We’ve seen that the NET Rankings can change based on who you play, so as bad as Fordham has been, we need every bump we can get from the entire conference.
