Another week in the books, and what a week it was! Richmond and Davidson played an instant classic, as the Spiders prevailed over the Wildcats in 3OT! Maggie Doogan recorded 48 points, seeing the single-game program record, the A-10 single-game record, AND the most points by a Division I WBB player in the NATION this season! Elsewhere around the league, both Rhode Island and George Mason have climbed to 5-0 records, with the Rams having won eight straight overall. Loyola Chicago is the biggest rider this week, as the Ramblers soar to 8th place after a 2-0 week, while Duquesne falls into last place for the first time in the history of this poll. Looking ahead, Saint Joseph’s hosts George Mason on Sunday afternoon in the only matchup between top-five this week. Some sneaky good games around the league also include St. Bonaventure hosting the Hawks on Wednesday, Richmond traveling to Dayton, and GW and Loyola Chicago as Saturday’s stand-alone game.
