The Massachusetts Minutewomen (2-5, 0-0 Atlantic 10) lost to the Siena Saints (2-4, 0-0 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) 57-53 on Sunday afternoon. The Minutewomen still hold a 6-4 lead in the series history over the Saints.
This game was a game of scoring runs and scoring drought for both UMass and Siena on Sunday. This game had five ties and five lead changes throughout the forty minutes of play between the Minutewomen and the Saints. UMass saw Allie Palmieri and Stefanie Kulesza struggle from the field (4-20 combined), which impacted the Minutewomen’s scoring efforts.

Megan Olbrys had a career-high 21 points to go with 11 rebounds for a double-double and Yahmani McKayle had 13 points to round out scorers in double digits.
