Feast Week is upon us! The past week saw George Mason pick up one of the best non-conference wins thus far for the A-10, taking down Wake Forest in Winston-Salem!
On the flip side, Saint Joseph’s took their first loss of the season in a OT loss at Utah at the hands of former Rhody Ram, Mayé Touré.
We’ve got a big week ahead with at least nine matchups against Power 5 opponents, including a pair against AP Top 25 teams, USC and Maryland respectively. This week’s rankings brings us a first for our poll: we have a tie for first place votes but not a tie for first place ranking. That is because SJU received a pair of third place votes, meaning the vote totals for Richmond were 1.63 and for Saint Joseph’s 1.75 (and George Mason was 2.63). Overall, we see upward movement from Dayton this week as the Flyers continue to trend in the right direction! Saint Louis takes the biggest tumble this week, after a pair of loses to in-state foes Missouri and Missouri State.
