What a wild final week of the season! It’s not every year that the format of the conference tournament changes in the final week of the regular season! Our hearts certainly go out to Davidson and all of Wildcat nation on a heartbreaking end to their season. For the remaining 14 teams, we head forth to Henrico, after Richmond clinched their first-ever A-10 Regular Season title! Some shuffling on the final day of the season gives us a top-four in seeding of Richmond, VCU, Saint Joseph’s and George Mason, while Duquesne just missed out on a double-bye. GW is the greatest benefactor of Davidson’s misfortune, as the Revolutionaries jump from no-bye to a single-bye thanks to the format change, plus a win over Loyola Chicago and Dayton’s loss to URI on the final day of the regular season. Lots of drama awaits us this week in Henrico! Let’s see how the teams stack up as we head into Championship Week!
