A little shuffling this week, as VCU jumps into the top five for the first time this season, riding a five-game winning streak. The top three teams all continued to impress this week, as Davidson opened conference play with a win over Dayton, and had an easy win over High Point as well. Saint Joseph’s dropped their first contest of the season, at the hands of #11 Utah, but bounced back with an impressive win over Villanova. George Mason was absolutely dominant in Vanessa Blair-Lewis’ return to her alma mater, as Mason moves to 8-1 on the year. Our pair of conference games this week were a nice appetizer, and an exciting reminder that conference play is just around the corner!
