An offensive explosion by the host Billikens, snapping a two game losing streak. Saint Louis connected on 65% of their two point attempts and 63% (10 of 16) from beyond the arc. They were guilty of a 23% turnover rate but the hot shooting and a 40-21 edge in the rebounding column more than compensated. Travis Ford’s club put four players in double figures with Fred Thatch leading the way with 21 points. Charlie Moore paced the Explorers with 20.

The Dukes have the lowest offensive efficiency in the A10 at 90. On this night they fell far behind their conference norm, losing their 11th straight in the process. Duquesne shot 1 of 21 from beyond the arc for a 5% showing. James Bishop was limited to nine points on 4 of 13 shooting from the floor. Joe Bamisile took up the slack, leading the Colonials with a game-high 21 points. Tre Williams paced Duquesne with 18 points.

Bonnies made it four straight. Umass led by six early and kept within striking distance for a good portion of the game largely due to a 49% mark (16 of 33) from beyond the arc. On the night, Matt McCall’s Minutemen attempted 33 from three, 24 (9 of 24 for 38%) from inside the arc. Dominic Welch led five Bona double figure scorers with a 23 point, 10 rebound effort. TJ Weeks (5 of 9 from three) led the Minutemen with 19. Kyle Lofton set a single game school record for Mark Schmidt’s Bonnies with 17 assists.
George Mason 75 Saint Joseph’s 70 OT

George Mason got back in the win column after dropping four of their previous five. The visiting Patriots battled back from a ten point deficit with just over three minutes to go in regulation. Both teams were above average (< 20%) in caring for the ball-George Mason showed a 10% TO rate, Saint Joseph’s 18%. Josh Oduro was outstanding for George Mason. The 6’9” junior scored a game high 33 points, hitting 10 of 15 from two point area and two of three from deep. Oduro added a team-high eight boards. Jordan Hall scored 17 points with a game-high six assists for the Hawks. Erik Reynolds tied Oduro for rebounding honors with eight. The 6’2” freshman guard also scored 16 points on the night for the host Hawks.
