Just two days after landing ESPN Top 100 forward Jermaine Harris, Rhode Island gets more good news. Class of 2018 point guard Brendan Adams will join suit on what is now a very good recruiting class. The Rams have landed, in addition to Adams and Harris, Amir Harris, Tyrese Martin, and Dana Tate. Dan Hurley’s squad will have no shortage of depth after the departure of some talented seniors this coming May.
Adams is a big point guard at 6-4, and he’s a 3 star recruit according to 247 Sports. He had offers from 17 schools but ultimately decided on Hurley and the Rams. Adams is quick and versatile and uses his size at PG to his advantage; he drives the lane without fear and is more than capable of kicking to open teammates. He, along with rising sophomore Jeff Dowtin, should be the future of Rhode Island’s backcourt.
