La Salle gets commitment from 2018 forward Ed Croswell

Grant LabedzBy Grant LabedzSeptember 4, 20171 Comment1 Min Read

La Salle picked up its second commitment from the Class of 2018 last week, landing forward Ed Croswell. The 6-6, 215 pound power forward plays high school ball at Saint Joseph’s Preparatory School. He decided he’ll stay local in Philly after graduating next season.

The 2 star recruit should be a nice addition to an improving Explorers frontcourt. In addition to Croswell, La Salle has landed 6-10 center Osun Osunniyi for the Class of 2018. For La Salle, building a foundational frontcourt in the coming seasons is going to be vital; the Explorers will graduate Tony Washington after the 2017-18 season, and Demetrius Henry has recently left the team. That leaves a lot of question marks down low, but Dr. G is doing a nice job on the recruiting trail recently, already locking in 2 freshmen for the 2018-19 season.

A 2-star player? Big yip! No doubt, the rest of the league trembling in their sneakers over this “big deal” of a recruit. They’ll probably just hand us the Atlantic 10 championship trophy at the first regular season game because of this signing.
