It was announced Thursday afternoon that Duquesne guard Spencer Littleson will transfer from the program. Littleson joins Isiaha Mike, Nakye Sanders, and Rene Castro on the list of players that will not be returning to the program following the dismissal of head coach Jim Ferry.

The rising sophomore appeared in 25 games this past season, but averaged just 8.4 minutes and 1.6 points per game in his lone season with the Dukes. It appeared that he would have seen an increased role in the 2017-18 season following the departure of Rene Castro, but Littleson has decided to move on. With Tarin Smith and Mike Lewis returning, 2017 commit Eric Williams Jr. joining the team, and the acquisition of transfers Tavian Dunn-Martin and Craig Randall, Duquesne’s back court remains crowded despite Littleson’s departure.
