VCU just landed Rice transfer Marcus Evans, and now it’s got a chance at Longwood transfer Khris Lane. The graduate transfer has reportedly cut his list down to VCU and Pittsburgh. Lane was considering George Washington, Rhode Island, and Wake Forest as well. He has apparently cancelled his visit with Wake Forest and will decide between the Rams and the Panthers in the coming week.
Longwood grad transfer Khris Lane tells me he will no longer visit Wake Forest. Plans to decide between VCU and Pitt in the next week.

Khris Lane averaged 17.1 points and 7.3 rebounds for the Lancers last season. He’ll be eligible immediately for his final season of college basketball. Lane would serve as a capable scorer and rebounder for whichever team manages to land him. If VCU manages to land Lane after Evans, it will be on a serious roll in the transfer market.
