Both George Washington and George Mason have accepted bids in the CBI Tournament. The Colonials will host the 17-16 Toledo Rockets out of the MAC at the Charles E. Smith Center on March 15 at 7PM. The Patriots will face the 15-16 Loyola (MD) Greyhounds out of the Patriot League at Eagle Bank Arena also on March 15 at 7PM.
This will mark the second time GW will make an appearance in the CBI, the first coming in 2010, when the Colonials dropped a 79-73 decision to then CAA-opponent VCU. Mason reached the finals of the CBI back in 2013, ultimately losing in Game 3 of the finals (a best of three series) to Santa Clara.

The tournament is entirely held at campus sites, and the finals will be nationally televised on ESPNU.
