Yuta Watanabe is expected to miss up to three weeks due to a calf injury, sources have confirmed. The Colonials’ junior has been averaging 13.4 points and 5.2 rebounds per game this season, behind leading scorer Tyler Cavanaugh. This is tough news for George Washington, a team that has now lost 3 straight and is in dire need of a bounce back win to swing this team’s momentum back in the right direction.

George Washington will have to look elsewhere for valuable offensive production, as Yuta has proven to be a key piece in its lineup. The Colonials take on Harvard, Florida State, and Temple in three of their next four games, all of which could be brutal if they don’t find make up for his loss. George Washington is 3-3 on the season.
