Duquesne lands Class of 2017 point guard Jamari Wheeler

Jim Ferry and the Dukes got a nice pickup over the weekend when Class of 2017 point guard Jamari Wheeler made a commitment while on his official visit. Wheeler is a 3 star recruit who stands at 6-1 and weighs in at 160 pounds. He played high school ball at The Rock School in Live Oak, Florida and played AAU ball for Florida Elite.

Wheeler is Duquesne’s first commitment in the Class of 2017, and he should help add some depth at the point guard position, which is something that the Dukes currently lack.
