Jordan Sibert signs with PAOK Thessaloniki (Greece)

Nearly two weeks ago, former Dayton Flyer star Jordan Sibert announced he has signed with a team in Greece. Following the conclusion of his senior year at Dayton, Sibert spent time playing in the NBA Developmental League. Now under contract with PAOK Thessaloniki, Sibert will soon get his first taste of Greek basketball.

After transferring from Ohio State, Jordan Sibert spent his final two years playing for Archie Miller and the Dayton Flyers. To say Sibert’s career at Dayton was great would be a huge understatement. Sibert helped take the Flyers to entirely new heights. In his junior year Sibert helped lead Dayton to a first round victory against his former roommate Aaron Craft’s Ohio State Buckeyes. The Flyers, of course, then went on to make their magical run to the Elite Eight. The following season, with no player on the roster over the height of 6’6″, Sibert helped the True Team win two more NCAA Tournament games.

Sibert not only won five tournament games in his time as a Flyer, he also put up some impressive numbers. During his two years at Dayton, Sibert averaged 14 points per game and shot nearly 39% from three. Sibert scored over 1,000 points in his short Flyer career and shot 75% from the free throw line. At 6’4″ and very athletic, Sibert is just an all around baller. He’s excited to begin this new journey and start another chapter in his life.

While it’s not always easy transitioning from playing in the states to balling overseas, Sibert is well equipped for the challenge. His outstanding attitude and dedicated work ethic will bring Sibert success wherever he goes. Best of luck to the former Flyer and A-10 player as he starts his Greek career soon.
