Darryl Morsell announced via his Twitter page on Tuesday that he will only be considering 5 schools from here on out. Though George Mason and Davidson had also offered the guard out of Baltimore, Maryland, Morsell will choose either Dayton, Maryland, Notre Dame, Villanova, or Virginia Tech.
Thank you to all the schools that took there time to recruit me. But I will be moving forward with these 5 schools 🏀 pic.twitter.com/uN725w82Sx

Morsell is a 6-3 shooting guard from Mount Saint Joseph High School who could help add some depth to the Flyers’ backcourt once Scoochie Smith and Kyle Davis graduate next season. Though Dayton could be a great option for Morsell, there are still a lot of big name programs left in the recruiting process, including 2016 National Champions the Villanova Wildcats. 247 Sports predicts that Maryland will be the destination for the 2017 guard, but he has also apparently taken just one official visit, and that was to Notre Dame.
