George Washington transfer Paul Jorgensen commits to Butler

Grant LabedzBy Grant LabedzMay 14, 2016No Comments1 Min Read

Earlier this week, George Washington transfer Paul Jorgensen committed to Butler after deciding he would transfer away from Foggy Bottom. He will have two years of eligibility remaining when he plays with the Bulldogs.

GW transfer Paul Jorgensen has committed to Butler, his AAU coach told @CBSSports. Sit one, play two. Good get for Chris Holtmann.

Though he’ll have to sit one year, Paul Jorgensen should be an impact player for Butler. Tyler Lewis will be a redshirt senior for the Bulldogs next season, and former Colonial Kethan Savage will also be playing his final year of eligibility with the Bulldogs in the 2016-17 season. Following this next season, Jorgensen may have a good chance at being Butler’s starting point guard in the Big East.

George Washington will make use of incoming transfer point guard Jaren Sina this next year. In addition, Tyler Cavanaugh and Yuta Watanabe will be making their returns to try to bring the Colonials to the NCAA Tournament.
