Duquesne Transfer LG Gill commits to Maryland

Duquesne transfer LG Gill has committed to Maryland, source told @CBSSports. Immediately eligible for next season. Big get for Terps.

— Jon Rothstein (@JonRothstein) May 9, 2016

Sources reported that Duquesne transfer LG Gill committed to Maryland this past Monday. The graduate transfer will play his final year of eligibility one state over with the Terrapins. Gill’s powerful frame will give Maryland a more defined inside presence at the start of the 2016 season. Gill averaged 10.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game this past season. He’ll likely be an immediate impact player for a Maryland team that loses its top 5 scorers this offseason.
