UMass took down Duquesne in overtime Sunday afternoon behind Jabarie Hinds’ career-best 37 points. UMass, who trailed by 10 points at the half, scored 51 in the second half to send the game to overtime. The game was pushed to overtime after Donte Clark nailed two freebies to knot the game at 84 with 41 seconds remaining in regulation. In overtime, UMass outscored the Dukes 24-15, to win the game 108-99. The Minutemen hit their first three shots in OT and didn’t look back. Hinds shot 65% from the field (13-20), 7 of those being from long range. Also for The Minutemen, Trey Davis scored 26 points and had 8 assists, while Antwan Space and Donte Clark both dropped 17 in the victory. Duquesne, on the other hand, got 29 points from Micah Mason on 6/15 shooting (14/16 FT). Also for the Dukes, L.G Gill scored 20 points to go with 8 rebounds.

For UMass, they picked up their fourth conference victory, while Duquesne lost their 7th game in conference play.
