DeAndre Bembry, St Joe’s– “Mr. Consistent” keeps the number one spot for the second straight week. Along with 13 rebounds, Bembry also had 16 points in a win over Dayton. He also had 19 points against Davidson. Bembry is showing no signs of slowing down.
Jack Gibbs, Davidson– Illness kept Gibbs out of one game this week, but you wouldn’t have known that yesterday. Gibbs dropped 35 points with a side of 5 assists against St. Joes. If he keeps this up, he’ll be back in the number one spot in no time.
Isaiah Miles, St. Joe’s- A 32 point performances lands Miles at the three spot this week. The 6’7 forward continues his impressive shooting display, shooting 42% from three against Davidson. I think it’s safe to say Miles will be in the Top 5 next week.
Melvin Johnson, VCU– After a uncharacteristic performance against SLU, Johnson rebounded with a impressive performance against arch-rival Richmond. He had 22 points along with 4 assists. Melvin is tied for the all-time record for 3s at VCU. Expect him to shatter that record against GMU.
Jaylen Adams, St. Bonaventure– I was really torn between Charles Cooke and Adams. I’m giving the nod the Adams because of his cold-blooded shot against Dayton. Adams not only won the game, but gave a huge boost the Bonnies resume. He also had 31 points in the win, no big deal.
