The Atlantic 10 released this year’s conference schedule today, a lineup that features a record 96 total television games and a total of 75 national TV games. The big winners? Not surprisingly last year’s Elite representative, Dayton, as well as the Shaka Smart-led VCU Rams.
While the conference will get plenty of TV time from top to bottom, it’s the Flyers and Rams that have drawn the attention of one of college basketball’s measuring sticks: the ESPN cameras.
All but one ESPN conference game will feature either VCU or Richmond: George Washington versus Richmond, who with their games against VCU and Dayton are the only other teams with multiple ESPN appearances in the conference schedule this season.
