Rhode Island lands top-100 guard, Jared Terrell

Mat Shelton-EideBy Mat Shelton-EideMay 16, 2014No Comments1 Min Read

Dan Hurley just picked up a huge late commitment for the 2014-15 Rhode Island Rams squad, landing Rivals No.66 player, Jared Terrell.

The 6’3 220-pound guard become one of two top-100s left on the board after de-committing from Oklahoma State and joins a three-man URI class that includes 6’0 point guard, Jarvis Garrett and 6’7 power forward, Earl Watson.

The Rams return all but one player from last season’s team, leading scorer Xavier Munford (16.9 ppg) and have a solid young core that includes two All-Rookie Team selections including the conference’s Co-Rookie of the Year in EC Matthews.

Rhody finished the season 14-18 but will be a chic pick to climb the standings, especially with the late addition of Terrell.
