Hamdy, along with Justin Tillman, would make up the core of VCU’s returning big men. The Rams also bring in Marcus Santos-Silva, Sean Mobley, and Mayan Kiir in their 2017 recruiting class. As a junior, Ahmed Hamdy averaged 5.9 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.
