The Remainder of the Atlantic 10 Tournament Has Been Cancelled

The Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament has been canceled over concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus, the A-10 announced Thursday afternoon.

The Atlantic 10 has cancelled its conference tournament in Brooklyn, per release.

The decision came just hours after the conference announced that the remainder of the tournament would be played without spectators.

The American, ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Big Sky, Big West, Conference-USA, Ivy League, MAC, Mountain West, Pac-12, SEC, Southern, Southland, Sun Belt, SWAC and WAC have all also canceled their conference tournaments.

The Big East played the first half of its opening game of the day between St. John’s and Creighton but canceled its tournament at halftime with the Red Storm out to a 38-35 lead on the top-seeded Bluejays.

The NCAA Tournament has been cancelled and virtually the entire sports world is shut down.
