Last night in the A10- Ram tough

Last night one game on tap in the A10. The battle of the Rams…

VCU 66 Fordham 61

Possessions: 71- an uptempo pace for both teams.

Offensive Efficiency: VCU 93, Fordham 86

The Rams of Richmond earned their fourth straight victory (seven of the last eight) with a narrow decision over the Rams of the Bronx at Rose Hill. Fordham trailed by as much a 17 late in the first half before making a second half run. KeShawn Curry (21) and Vince Williams (19) combined for 40 of VCU’s point production. Once again turnovers were a problem for Mike Rhoades’ club. They committed 17 on the night for a 24% TO rate. On the other side forcing turnovers was a significant strength as Fordham matched VCU’s TO numbers and rate with 17 and 24%. With Darius Quisenberry still out, Josh Colon-Navarro led Fordham with 20 points. Chuba Ohams had a double-double outing for Kyle Neptune’s group- 14 points and a game-high 12 rebounds.
