La Salle’s Savon Goodman withdraws from classes

It was reported on Thursday that Savon Goodman of La Salle has withdrawn from his classes for unspecified personal reasons. Goodman transferred from Arizona State and was expected to be a pivotal piece to the Explorers’ 2016-17 team but has now left the team.

It is unknown exactly why Goodman has decided to drop his classes and head coach John Giannini has yet to comment on the situation. La Salle is expected to make a big jump in the A-10 this coming season thanks to the addition of transfers like Goodman. He averaged 9.6 points and 6.4 rebounds for the Sun Devils last season.
