La Salle’s Isiah Deas academically cleared for the 2016-17 season

Per Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports on Wednesday, La Salle’s incoming freshman Isiah Deas has been academically cleared by the NCAA and will be eligible for the 2016-17 season. Deas signed with the Explorers back in July of this year. He’s a 2 star small forward that could get some playing time off the bench this season.

La Salle is expected to make a huge jump in the Atlantic 10 this season thanks to numerous transfer additions. The Explorers open up the regular season with a huge first contest: an away game against the Temple Owls. Temple opens as 4 point favorites at home.
