Jack Turner Commits to the Loyola Ramblers

The Ramblers struck early in the class of 2024, with the commitment of Jack Turner of St. John Bosco in Temecula, CA. The 6’3” guard played for West Coast Elite in the Under Armor Circuit. Last year, Turner led his high school team to the state semi-finals as a sophomore. In the game prior to the state playoffs, Turner turned in one of his best performances. He scored 25 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Rambler fans should get used to seeing him stuff the stat sheet. In the UAA circuit he had games of 28/3/2, 9/2/11, and 38/4/3. That 38 point performance in particular sticks out. The Loyola Ramblers staff was three deep for that game. They’ve been recruiting him for a while, and especially hard since then.

Jack Turner is a fun player to watch. At a young age he already plays with a very high level pace. He’s a gifted scorer, who loves finding crafty ways to finish around the hoop. He seems to be in control of the game, and is improving his playmaking abilities at a rapid pace. One of our friends within the industry, Jake Lieberman of JAL Hoops says, “Turner is a quick and crafty guard. He’s a good shooter. He plays with swag, and is a fun player to watch”. Make sure to give him a follow on twitter: @jakelieberman2. Jack sets the Ramblers up to continue a very successful recruiting pattern. Valentine and his staff relentlessly persist in adding talent to this team. I think they’ve struck gold again, this time just much, much earlier in the process.
