Richmond dismantles Boston College
The Richmond Spiders are 6-1 after defeating the Boston College Eagles 64-44. The Spiders were led by fantastic defensive play as they forced 18 Boston College turnovers.  Without Grant Golden, Richmond didn’t seem to miss a beat, which make things that much more exciting when he is cleared to return.  Offensively, the Spiders were led by Jacob Gilyard who tallied 22 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 steals. Blake Francis was right behind him with 18 points.  The Eagles couldn’t get anything going on the offensive side of the ball, especially in the 2nd half.  Richmond held them to 18 points in the final 20:00 as they shot 29.1% overall.
Spiders stepped up
Nathan Cayo went down late in the 1st half appearing to be in a ton of pain, but returned to action and started the 2nd half.  Cayo had 9 points & 4 rebounds in 25:09 of playing time.  Souleymane Koureissi also filled a hole that the Spiders needed today, as he  scored 2 points and 1 rebound...
