Richmond At-Large Hopes Still Alive
Richmond, VA —
The Richmond Spiders defeated the Davidson Wildcats by a score of 80-63 at the Robins Center, clinching a double-bye in Brooklyn.  They didn’t exactly breeze through this one, as they found themselves down for 21:56 in this one, but Nick Sherod helped spark the comeback.  Nick hit 5 3’s in the 2nd half, finishing with 19 points.  This team is that much better when he can contribute and be a factor, especially from deep.  Richmond had 4 guys finish in double figures (Francis, Cayo, Sherod, Golden), and finished the night shooting 27-55 from the field.  Free throws were also huge for the Spiders, as they knocked down 18-22 in the victory.
Robins Center Factor
Richmond found themselves trailing for a good portion of this game, and we can think that the crowd here tonight had something to do with their comeback.  This was one of the loudest and engaged crowd we’ve had at the Robins Center this season.  Nathan Cayo is another guy who...
