This was another really gutsy win for Rhode Island -- I've been most impressed with this team's defense this season, and the Rams have tremendous resolve late in the 2nd half (see this game and the Nicholls St. game). This sets up a very interesting matchup against LSU. Kenpom has Rhody as a 5 point underdog, and that seems about right. Unfortunately, the Tigers let one slip away against Utah St., and they could've been riding into this game with a win over a top 15 opponent. LSU is still a very good team and will likely make the NCAA Tournament this year, so a Rhode Island win would go a long way. Gotta keep building that resume.
