The game is on CBSSN.
Pav stinks.

We have only beat VCU twice since they joined the A10, the Posley buzzer beater and Stockard's out of body experience 21pts/14rebs.
That phoenix would need some reinforced wings to get off the ground. He's like the phoenix.
At first I thought I heard he was out to due a death in the family, but to miss three games seems like a lot... couple that with the fact he's practicing with local kids back home doesn't look great.Does anyone know if Roberts is back and available for this game?
I feel like he could have a huge role in this matchup since VCU has been effective at getting the ball out of Lofton's hands.
A little bit after I asked this Mike Hogan asked Schmidt.Does anyone know if Roberts is back and available for this game?

Not particularly surprising - it seemed like his body language wasn't the greatest whenever he was out there. Perhaps inflated sense of ego - kid didn't do his homework and thought he could come to Bonaventure and immediately start because he averaged 13 pts on a 44% clip at Kent State. Either way, we have a good amount of depth at the 2 anyway - I have a hard time believing that Roberts would outperform AJ and even Creal this year given what I saw when he was on the court. Interesting that Scmidt gave him so much time though, he obviously saw something in Roberts. In line with the previous Soprano quote I would say one of my favorite Tony quotes applies here:Yet another confounding study in the modern college basketball player psyche. This season doesn't count against one's eligibility, so why leave mid-season?
Roberts, who was supposed to sit for his year in residence this season, somehow expected to start, but didn't anticipate Lofton, Welch, and Holmes all being better. "Another toothpick," as Janice Soprano would say, in the era of instant gratification.
