Per Richmond Basketball, redshirt junior Blake Francis is OUT against Davidson on Tuesday.  He did not travel with the team and is currently being evaluated in Richmond, with a meeting scheduled with a specialist for later in the week to determine his status for future games.  Francis sustained the injury against Saint Louis on Saturday, diving to the floor for a loose ball late in the game.  He left the floor and did not return from the bench.
The team has not elaborated on the specificity or severity of the chest injury at this time.
Richmond has also said that sophomore guard Andre Gustavson will start in place of Francis.  Gustavson, averaging 18.5 minutes, 3.9 points and 2.4 rebounds, will make his first start of the season.  Following a torn ACL for Nick Sherod in 2018, Gustavson started 19 games as a freshman.  He scored 8 points (4-5 FG) and grabbed 3 rebounds in 20 minutes of action on Saturday.

Update
Blake Francis is dealing with a sternum injury.
