Atlantic 10 Power Rankings

This makes a lot of sense. BUT, watch out, LaSalle will ruin the season for one or more of the top Tier schools with an upset win at Gola. Coach Howard has quietly and quickly turned the sinking ship around. Life preservers have been put back into storage.

I think you’re right about this... I know La Salle has spoiled Davidson’s at-large hopes a few times. Dayton’s opening game is at La Salle, so that will be an interesting one, but the Explorers are a trap — playing well, but a loss goes down as a bad loss.

Starting to look like maybe the gap between tier 2 and tier 3 may be wider than we thought. Good news - bad news imo for the league. Good news is that it means a higher chance of 3 or 4 bids. Bad news, the league isn't as deep(?).

dayton

vcu
rhode island
SLU

Richmond
Mason -big test tonight
Davidson
Dukes

Here's my updates:

1. Dayton
2. VCU
3. Saint Louis
4. Richmond
5. Rhode Island
6. Duquesne
7. Davidson
8. St. Bonaventure
9. George Mason
10. La Salle
11. Massachusetts
12. George Washington
13. Saint Joseph's
14. Fordham

I'm not going to write off SLU after that loss because it wasn't a bad loss. URI has to drop though after losing to Brown -- that is a bad loss. Reality is, this whole league is a jumbled mess after 1. Dayton and 2. VCU, and I think we can all agree on that.

Time to re-tier the power ranking(each tier is also in order from left to right)

Dayton

Duquesne- VCU -SLU -Rhode Island- Richmond

Bonnies - Davidson - Mason

La Salle- Umass- GW- St Joes

Fordham

My only change would be to maybe move Bonnies up a tier (but still same order). Think they are closer to Rhody/Richmond then Davidson/Mason now that they are healthy and rolling.
