Bonnies vs. VCU (Wed. 01/20/21 at 6:00 pm)

This is where having only a 20 game season is actually a positive thing. Playing 11 less games is not insignificant when it comes to wear and tear/fatigue.

I’m not sure a transfer helps this year. It’s not talent alone that gets you on the court, or else Winston would still be here playing 30 minutes a game.

Is it realistic that we're going to get a guy with the talent level to get minutes, who will also developing an understanding of the system to get minutes? Particularly with 10 games to go.

Not only are there chemistry issues mentioned by agoo. You cant just pick up a free agent midseason and add him to your lineup. The player needs to be enrolled in school at the beginng of the acedemic year. A player can'r play for 2 schools in the same season.

This SI article explains ithe new rule pretty well

Not wanting the thread on this great win to die just yet, I'm going to bring up another great "tale of two halves" in the Reilly Center. Too bad we didn't win the one against Dayton on 1/19/2016. We were blown away in the first half score of 45-18. A radical change saw the Bonnies outscore the Flyers 61-40 in H2. Archie Miller said he was glad the clock ran out when it did with Dayton winning 85-79. Jaylen Adams scored 27 and Posley had 31. However, our "glue guy" didn't score and the turnover-prone Gregg contributed as many TO's as he did points: 3. The Bonnies also lost their next game to VCU, but won 10 of their last 11 A10 games. We were starting to get good again, but got edged out of the A10 tourney in OT by our nemesis, Davidson.
