Do you want to write for Hoop Ten Harbor?

Hoop Ten Harbor is an Atlantic 10 men’s basketball blog with the goal of covering everything in and around one of the best conferences in the NCAA. With a staff formed from students at various A10 schools, we are primarily a blog by fans for fans. It is the goal of HTH to share with you our love for the game in a way that gives an in-depth, thoughtful and insightful look at some of the best stories the conference has to offer.

Right now, we’re recruiting writers, or fans (just like you!), who are crazy about A10 basketball and want to take their passions to the next level . Our goal is to have a writer that specializes in each specific team in the A10. We currently have staff who cover Fordham, Davidson, and George Washington, but we’re looking to expand to cover your team! If you’re a huge fan of an A10 team, or just the conference in general, and enjoy writing, we’d love to have you on board.

Each of our writers publishes two articles per week. One article is a conference-wide preview or recap for a specific day of the week. The other article is a feature article of the writer’s choice that he or she publishes the same day each week. That feature is usually team-specific, but we don’t tie a writer down to a specific team if they want to write about a variety of them.

Working with Hoop Ten Harbor is a great platform to publish your content on a fast-growing website that’s on the up and up. It provides you the opportunity to share your thoughts and opinions with other fans across the conference. If you’re interested, we’d love to hear from you at [email protected]. We ask that you also submit one writing sample piece (doesn’t have to be about sports), in order for us to gauge where you’re at in terms of basic writing skills. Obviously, please have some sort of background knowledge when it comes to Atlantic 10 basketball.

Thanks again, we hope to soon welcome you aboard!
