George Mason head coach Dave Paulsen’s contract was officially extended through the 2021-22 season on Tuesday. Paulsen is entering his 3rd year as Mason’s head coach, and he’s already done a quite a bit to reverse the direction of this program. George Mason won just 9 games during the 2014-15 season under Paul Hewitt. Last season, Paulsen won 20 and helped the Patriots finish 6th in the A-10. This extension is well-deserved.
