Dr. Martin Luther Fr. Day saw two games, as well as reflection and social awareness,  in the conference. One, a BIG Five rivalry. The other, a rivalry of two schools in close proximity. In both contests the visitors emerged victorious.

Saint Joseph’s made it two straight with the win at Tom Gola Arena at Trumark Financial Center. Hawks jumped out to a 12-0 lead en route to a 12 point lead at intermission. The second half saw the lead expand to twenty at the midway point. La Salle made a run but could get no closer than a nine point deficit. Explorers forced Saint Joseph’s into a 31% TO rate (22 turnovers), resulting in a 16-7 advantage in points off turnovers.  The Hawks countered hitting 50% (11 of 22) from  three. La Salle’s Fousseyni Drame led all scorers with 24 points. Cameron Brown paced the Hawks with 20 while Erik Reynolds II added 19.
