Saint Joseph’s made it two straight with the win at Tom Gola Arena at Trumark Financial Center. Hawks jumped out to a 12-0 lead en route to a 12 point lead at intermission. The second half saw the lead expand to twenty at the midway point. La Salle made a run but could get no closer than a nine point deficit. Explorers forced Saint Joseph’s into a 31% TO rate (22 turnovers), resulting in a 16-7 advantage in points off turnovers. The Hawks countered hitting 50% (11 of 22) from three. La Salle’s Fousseyni Drame led all scorers with 24 points. Cameron Brown paced the Hawks with 20 while Erik Reynolds II added 19.

George Washington placed four players in double figure scoring with Brandan Adams leading the way with a game high 22 points. James Bishop added 19 and handed out 8 assists. Colonials handed George Mason their first home loss of the season. George Washington led by ten with just under three minutes remaining. Patriots went on a run to cut the deficit to two with a minute to go. GW closed the door with several defensive stops in that final minute. George Mason was led by Ronald Polite with 18 points while Josh Oduro scored 17 while pulling down a game high 9 boards. Both teams shot over 42% from three while George Mason was forced into 17 turnovers (23% TO rate).
