It was announced on Monday that 2018 small forward Mezie Offurum had committed to George Washington. At 6-5, he’s a versatile wing that will enhance the middle of GW’s lineup along with Maceo Jack and Terry Nolan Jr. in 2018-19. From Georgetown Prep, Mezie is a local player who decided to stay local and play for the Colonials. Offurum had offers from high-level schools like Indiana, Virginia Tech, Maryland, and Rhode Island. He becomes George Washington’s second commitment from the Class of 2018.
