2018 forward Jared Kimrough announced his commitment to the La Salle Explorers on Saturday via his Twitter page. The Neptune, New Jersey native comes in at 6-8 and is the 3rd commitment for the Explorers from the class of 2018. La Salle has also secured forwards Ed Croswell and Osun Osunniyi for the 2018-19 season. Kimbrough had an offer from a variety of local schools, including A-10 foe George Mason, but he ultimately settled with the Explorers. John Giannini is doing a great job beefing up his frontcourt for the 2018-19 season.
Kimbrough has a great range of post steps, as he’s a proven scorer down low. This will be a big key for a La Salle team that’s looking to be one of the bigger teams in the A-10 in the coming seasons. Kimbrough’s long arms make him effective on both ends of the floor, and he should be big on the boards as well. Expect him to come along with the rest of La Salle’s 2018 recruiting class and make a lot of noise in the A-10.
