Dayton senior Scoochie Smith is starting his own clothing company

Grant LabedzBy Grant LabedzApril 25, 2017No Comments2 Mins Read

Dayton point guard Scoochie Smith had some of the most stylish moves on the court last season. Coming in at #5 on our Top 25 Player Countdown, Scoochie Smith truly had one heck of a senior season. As his career at Dayton comes to a close, he’s beginning to look at career options outside of basketball. In particular, Schoochie Smith hopes to open up his own online clothing store in the near future.

I am trying to raise money to start my online clothing store. All contributions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks https://t.co/eqVfEleluy

Scoochie Smith notes that he’s ready for life outside of basketball, and this was an idea that came to him during his basketball career at Dayton. Smith hopes that he can raise the appropriate funds to acquire inventory. He’s started a GoFundMe page where he hopes to raise $10,000 to get his business off the ground. You can donate to his up-and-coming business now. Smith averaged 13.8 points and 4.5 assists per game this past season for the Flyers. He was a member of the Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team as well.
