William & Mary grad transfer Jack Whitman to visit George Washington

Grant LabedzBy Grant LabedzApril 13, 2017No Comments1 Min Read

William & Mary graduate transfer Jack Whitman will visit George Washington in his search for a new school. The 6-9, 235 lb. forward from Lexington, Kentucky averaged 10.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.2 assist per game last season for the Tribe. He also shot 66% from 2 point range which ranked 30th in the nation. According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, Whitman will also be visiting the Clemson Tigers.

William & Mary grad transfer Jack Whitman tells me he plans to visit George Washington and Clemson. Immediately eligible.

Collin Goss and Kevin Marfo have both transferred from George Washington leaving Arnaldo Toro and Collin Smith as the only two true post players on the roster. Without any 2017 forwards on its radar, it seems vital that George Washington brings in some frontcourt talent from the transfer market. Whitman looks like he’d be a stellar get. He’ll have one year of eligibility remaining and will be able to play immediately.
