Saint Louis to host Kansas State in the 2016-17 non-conference season

CBS Sports reported on Wednesday that the Saint Louis Billikens will be hosting Kansas State in the non-conference portion of the 2016-17 season. This game will be a return matchup from last year’s contest in Manhattan where the Wildcats won 75-47 and will be played on December 3rd.

Head coach Travis Ford has brought in some new talent to Saint Louis, some of which will have to wait a year until it sees the court for the first time. Nevertheless, the Billikens will look to be better than they were last year utilizing returning players in Jermaine Bishop, Mike Crawford, and Reggie Agbeko.

Kansas State will also return some talent from last year and will be looking to sweep the series between these two teams. Wesley Iwundu, the leading scorer in last year’s contest, will be back for the Wildcats. This should be a solid non-conference matchup and a good chance for Saint Louis to get an RPI-boosting win.
