PHOTOS: Avila, Swope Lead SLU Past St. Joe’s 73-57

St. Louis’s junior center, Robbie Avila, and senior guard, Isaiah Swope, led the Billikens to a 73-57 win over St. Joseph’s to move the Bills to 2-0 in the A-10. Avila had his first double-double for SLU with 21 points and 11 rebounds, along with 5 assists. Swope put up 26 points and had 8 assists. As a team, SLU had 20 assists on the night and outscored Saint Joseph’s 24-8 over the final 8:22 of the game.
