DeAndre Bembry, St. Joe’s- Damn DeAndre, back at it again with the number one spot. Sorry, I couldn’t help myself. Bembry had himself another solid performance against UMass, finishing with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. Bembry is on a role and it doesn’t look like anyone is going to stop him.
Isaiah Miles, St. Joe’s– An impressive shooting display lands Miles at the two spot. Shooting 4-5 from three, Miles continued his impressive senior campaign by finishing 20 points and 9 rebounds in a win over UMass. Only time will tell if Miles can overtake his teammate DeAndre Bembry.
Jack Gibbs, Davidson– Gibbs had a good performance this week, but it wasn’t the usually we’re used to seeing from Gibbs. Shooting 1-8 from three, Gibbs finished with 17 points and 4 assists. We expect Gibbs to return to his normal form against Fordham.
Melvin Johnson, VCU– Sorry B.A. Walker, but Melvin had other plans. Johnson set a VCU program record for most career threes this week, passing B.A. Walker. Melvin had 24 points and 4 assists in an upset loss. Johnson and the Rams will have a chance to avenge the loss at GW today.
Jaylen Adams, St. Bonaventure– Adams retains the five spot this week after leading the way to a win over Duquesne. Tallying 24 points along with 5 assists, Adams is leading the Bonnies towards an NCAA tournament bid. Adams will only add to his numbers against UMass this weekend.
