VCU’s graduating senior big man Mo Alie-Cox has his sights set on the pros, but it might not be in basketball. Sources reported that Alie-Cox will be working out with various NFL teams this Spring. VCU’s senior will be working out as a tight end on April 11th near Richmond, Virginia, where he’ll hope to show off his football skills and his seemingly NFL-equipped physique.

Mo Alie-Cox is built like an NFL tight end at 6-8, 250 pounds. The senior had the 6th best offensive rating and the 2nd best block percentage in the Atlantic 10 this season. Alie-Cox has been talked about as a potential NFL player throughout his career at VCU, and now it seems that thought might become a reality. VCU doesn’t have a football team, but there’s a chance the Rams get a player to the NFL this year. That’s a pretty awesome story.
